<p>The Delhi Capitals will try to cross the finish line this year when they play the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the WPL 2024 Final on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The team barely missed out on capturing the trophy in the first edition.</p>

<p>The Delhi Capitals enjoyed an almost flawless season, winning six of their eight league stage games and losing two. They achieved direct qualifying for the WPL final by finishing atop the points table for the second time in a row.</p>
<p>Meg Lanning, captain of the Delhi Capitals, remarked, “It’s pretty cool that we get to do it again,” in reference to the team’s opportunity to compete in the WPL final twice in a row. It all boils down to us playing well tomorrow; that’s what winning the championship is all about.</p>
<p>“It’s about performing on the day, adapting on the fly and being able to play what’s in front of you,” she said. The last year’s experience is rather instructive. Even if it seems like we’ve been there before, it doesn’t motivate us any differently.</p>
<p>Meg predicted that the match versus RCB at the top would be exciting. We can’t wait to participate and are really psyched about it. We’re eager to face it and, hopefully, put on our finest performance of the competition.</p>
<p>“I’m expecting nothing less than wild cricket and dramatic endings tomorrow, as we’ve witnessed throughout the season. We’re going up against some very good cricket from the RCB. They’ve shown that even when they’re under pressure, they can play some excellent cricket. I have complete faith that our group can meet this challenge, and it’s a wonderful one,” she said.</p>
<p>On Sunday, the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play in the WPL Final.</p>
