Most recently, Kumar Raj was awarded the Best Director Award at the 2nd Jalgaon International Film Festival 2025, held at the Maulana Azad Research Center in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The ceremony, attended by film personalities, cultural dignitaries and members of the media, celebrated exceptional cinematic achievements from across the globe. Adding to the celebrations, Kumar Raj was also invited as a distinguished guest at the Zee Cine Awards in Mumbai, where his landmark film Ameena was specially acknowledged for its extraordinary 100-week uninterrupted theatrical run. Further strengthening his international acclaim, Kumar Raj’s film Tara has achieved an extraordinary 601 international awards and recognitions, along with 35 World Book Records, setting a remarkable global benchmark.
The Indian Diversity International Filmfare Awards (IDIFA) has also congratulated Kumar Raj on the Official Selection of Tara as Best Feature Film at the festival.
